Apollo 9 Flown Lunar Module Kapton Foil Photo Presentations
Apollo 9 Lunar Module flown Kapton Foil Photo Presentation # 37/50 with approximately .25 sq. inch remnant of flown Kapton foil from the Apollo 9 Lunar Module, “Spider”. Comes with an APOLLOSPACE letter of Authenticity and copy of letter of authenticity from Apollo 9 LMP, Rusty Schweickart.
APOLLOSPACE is pleased to offer a limited-edition collection (of 50) Apollo 9 flown Kapton foil photographic presentations which have been affixed with a remnant piece of Kapton foil that was originally part of the protective insulation of the Apollo 9 Lunar Module, “Spider,” which was flown in space as part of that spacecraft from March 3-13, 1969. This is Presentation No. 37/50 (37 out of 50).
The original Kapton from which the attached remnants were cut was retrieved from the Lunar Module by Apollo 9 Lunar Module Pilot Rusty Schweickart shortly before the LM was jettisoned from the Command Module. Series A9-1, offered exclusively by APOLLOSPACE.
